Creato nel 2014 l’Istituto dei Mestieri d’Eccellenza LVMH è un programma di formazione qualificato che permette al gruppo LVMH di garantire la trasmissione del proprio know-how alle nuove generazioni nei mestieri della creazione, dell’artigianato e della customer experience. I corsi permettono ai partecipanti di ricevere una duplice formazione, sia dall’ente formativo, sia dalle Maison del Gruppo LVMH o i loro partner. In partnership with Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and Ca’ Foscari Challenge School of Venice , the ME Institute is organizing a one-year course in theoretical-practical alternation in collaboration with 6 Maisons of the Group. The Master in Luxury, Client Advisor and Store Management will welcome approximately 15 students interested in luxury retail field.

Job responsibilities

The ME Institute offers a high-quality training entirely taught in English, in order to prepare students for a sales associate position and a career in luxury retailing, having acquired competencies such as:

- Process a sale in a confident and professional manner;
- Engage with clients to develop long-term relationships and foster brand loyalty;
- Contribute to successful commercial results;
- Acquire cross-selling techniques and know-how;




- Learn and master brand and product knowledge;
- Be able to create a unique and unforgettable in-store experience;
- Confirm the English fluency for non-English native speakers;
- Learn basic or improve the Mandarin language.

Profile

The selections are open to at least 15 participants that also:

- Must have at least an Italian Laurea Triennale (or equivalent);
- Have a very good level of Italian and English (C1);
- Be sensible to luxury and customer service;
- Have some knowledge of a third language (Mandarin , Russian, Japanese, Arabic, ecc).

FENDI MAISON

The Fendi Maison was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first Fendi boutique – a handbag shop and fur workshop followed. Soon winning international acclaim, Fendi emerged as a brand renowned for its elegance, craftsmanship, innovation and style. Called by the legendary five Fendi sisters, the collaboration with the late Karl Lagerfeld began back in 1965 and lasted 54 years. In 1992, Silvia Venturini Fendi seconded him in the Artistic Direction; in 1994, she is given the direction of Accessories and later of Menswear.

In 2000, the LVMH group acquires Fendi becoming in 2001 its majority shareholder. Appointed in 2020, Kim Jones held the role of Artistic Director of Couture and Womenswear until 2024. Since 2020, Delfina Delettrez Fendi, fourth generation of the Fendi family, is Artistic Director of Jewellery. Today Fendi is synonymous with quality, tradition, experimentation and creativity.
