Role Overview The HR Business Partner will act as the HR partner for two strategic Fedrigoni manufacturing sites, managing the full employee lifecycle and all people‑related topics. The role requires a high degree of autonomy and focuses on industrial relations.
Responsibilities - Act as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, aligning people initiatives with operational and organisational goals.
- Lead employee and industrial relations activities, fostering constructive relationships with trade unions while ensuring compliance with collective labour agreements and employment regulations.
- Manage disciplinary procedures and complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and consistent application of HR practices.
- Monitor labour cost and workforce planning, focusing on absenteeism, overtime, and other key HR metrics, providing actionable insights to management.
- Support managers in performance management, learning, development and talent initiatives.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding activities, ensuring the attraction and retention of talent aligned with business needs.
- Partner with leaders to strengthen employee engagement, team effectiveness,
and leadership capabilities across the organisation.
- Coach and advise managers on people management, career development, and building high‑performing teams.
Qualifications - 6+ years of experience in HR roles within multinational companies, with a solid background as a Plant HR Business Partner or Industrial Relations Expert.
- Hands‑on experience leading and managing relationships and negotiations with local and regional trade unions.
- Strong expertise in Italian labour law and the ability to provide sound guidance on employment matters and ensure legal compliance.
- Proven experience collaborating with external legal counsel, employers’ associations (e.g. Confindustria), and other external stakeholders on labour and industrial relations matters.
- Human Resources enthusiast with a dynamic and flexible approach suitable for a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and relational skills, able to manage and coordinate priorities in a complex environment with different ongoing transformation streams.
- Fluency in English.
