We are seeking a dedicated and experienced VAT/Accounting Compliance Specialist to join our international team. Based in Italy, this role will support our expanding portfolio of non-EU clients operating on Amazon by ensuring full VAT compliance with Italian regulations. excellent communication and research skills, and the ability to navigate Italian tax authorities (ADE) effectively. This role also includes internal financial tasks such as bookkeeping, VAT filing, and statutory reporting for our own entities. Key Responsibilities Client-Focused Responsibilities
- Register VAT numbers and appoint fiscal representatives for non-EU companies.
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly VAT returns, annual VAT returns, and Intrastat declarations.
- Support clients with VAT refund procedures, audits, and ADE control checks or enquiries.
- Stay up to date with Italian VAT law changes and advise clients proactively on compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with the Chinese operations team and UK sales and marketing teams to support smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery. Internal Responsibilities
- Maintain bookkeeping and financial records for our Italian entities.
- File VAT returns and manage accounting compliance for our own business operations.
- Assist with internal financial reporting and reconciliations.




- Liaise with our accountants and tax advisors to ensure full local compliance. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in VAT-related accounting work.
- Experience working with international clients or e-commerce businesses is highly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Italian VAT legislation, ADE procedures, and cross
- border VAT compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.
- Proficient in research and interpretation of tax regulations.
- Strong problem-solving ability and professional work ethic.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multicultural, international team.
- Must have legal residency and valid work permit in Italy.
- Proficiency in accounting tools and office productivity software. Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Optional ACCA / CPA or similar, full qualification not mandatory
- Experience with Amazon sellers and VAT representation models.
- Familiarity with handling fiscal representation and non-EU VAT compliance.
- Chinese language skills (spoken or written) are a strong plus due to frequent coordination with our Chinese operations team. Pay: €1,000.00 - €2,500.00 per month
