Employment Application Fillable Police Department Employment Opportunities City Of Florence Police Department is always accepting applications.
Starting pay is dependent on qualifications.
Job duties will include public interaction, incident evaluation, traffic, arrests/detention, officer assists, etc.
Basic Qualifications To be considered for the position of police officer with the Florence Police Department, candidates must be met by the close of the application period. Must be 21 years of age
Possess a valid driver's license (any state) at the time of application and obtain a valid Colorado driver's license by the date of hire
Be a U.S. Citizen
Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high education
Must be able to read, speak, and understand English All Applicants Must Have P.O.S.T. Certification
Valid Colorado Driver's License All Applicants Must Be Able To Pass A post-offer physical A psychological exam A background check A drug and alcohol screening Applications may be picked up at the Florence Police Department, 600 W 3rd St. Florence, CO, 81226.
