Description

Hoya Lens Italia is looking for a Product Specialist to support customers in the use of instruments, systems, and software applications dedicated to the optical industry.

The successful candidate will join the New Media Team and serve as a key point of contact for training, technical consulting, and operational support activities, contributing to the delivery of excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the technical and commercial aspects of HOYA and Seiko branded instruments.
- Manage the commercial activities related to instruments from other brands.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle at customer sites, from new product launches and customer presentations to installation, training, and after-sales support.
- Deliver training sessions and on-site coaching to customers throughout Italy on the use of company instruments and software applications (approximately 40% of working time).
- Provide remote technical support and after-sales assistance.




- Handle administrative activities related to instrumentation, including warehouse management, delivery notes, and order processing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.

Requirements

- Degree in Optics and Optometry.
- Excellent command of both Italian and English.
- Previous experience, even if limited, in training, technical support, or customer consulting is considered a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to travel frequently across Italy.
- Availability to work on weekends when required.
- Strong organizational skills, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Location

Garbagnate Milanese (MI), Italy, with frequent travel to customer sites throughout the country.
