Position Overview Senior QA Engineer – Systems & Integrations will strengthen WFP’s end‑to‑end quality assurance capability across the Individual Giving (IG) technology ecosystem. The role operates within the IG Tech & Operations team and is aligned with the Strategic Delivery Hub. Responsibilities include ensuring that changes across platforms – Go Donate, Salesforce NPC/NPSP, Marketing Cloud, payment systems, integrations and data flows – are reliable, safe to release and validated against defined acceptance and risk criteria. Accountabilities / Responsibilities Define, evolve and implement system‑level QA standards across the entire IG fundraising platform; establish what “safe to release” means for multi‑platform changes. Lead end‑to‑end validation for cross‑system flows, conduct structured release readiness reviews and provide evidence‑based recommendations on release safety. Partner with Integration Engineer and Data Engineer to verify pipelines, APIs, automations and cross‑platform synchronization; conduct root‑cause analysis for complex defects. Design, maintain and execute detailed test suites including functional, integration, regression, negative path and data validation tests; produce traceable test evidence for release gating and auditability. Guide and mentor the emerging Junior QA function; uplift broader QA capability through improvements in automation strategy, documentation, tooling and test environment usage. Identify systemic failure modes and recurring defect patterns; feed insights back into architecture, delivery and product decisions. Collaborate closely with Technical Architecture, Fundraising Architecture, Product and Delivery roles to ensure test planning aligns with architectural constraints and delivery sequencing.



Execute additional quality‑related duties as required to support the evolution, reliability and scalability of the IG technology ecosystem. Qualifications and Experience University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a STEM discipline. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in quality assurance, system testing, technical delivery or platform engineering within complex technology environments. Experience working across integrated multi‑platform ecosystems involving CRM, payments, marketing platforms, APIs, data flows or operational systems. Demonstrated experience designing and executing structured testing across multiple systems, including integration testing, regression testing, end‑to‑end validation and release readiness. Strong understanding of how changes propagate across interconnected systems and impact operational, donor‑facing and reporting processes. Experience with modern web applications, APIs, data pipelines and cloud platforms; knowledge of testing tools, automation and release processes. Analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate complex multi‑system defects and identify systemic failure patterns. Experience working in agile and iterative delivery environments involving multiple parallel workstreams and changing priorities. Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical, operational, non‑technical and cross‑cultural stakeholders. Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of another official UN language is a plus. Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, payment platforms, data warehouses and fundraising technologies is advantageous. EEO Statement WFP celebrates and embraces diversity.
