UNDERWRITER

The Underwriter will join the Underwriting team and will be responsible for assessing, selecting, and managing risks within his area of expertise (Engineering & Construction, Property, Surety, Casualty, Liability, SME, Pricing/Actuarial, and other specialty lines).

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, analyze, and select risks within the specific line of expertise.
- Perform pricing activities and structure technical and competitive insurance solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with intermediaries in order to meet customers' insurance needs.
- Contribute to the development of new or improved proposals based on discussions with intermediaries and end customers.




- Provide support to colleagues in the commercial and technical areas.

Requirements

- At least 3 years of experience in the insurance sector, in underwriting, specializing in one or more lines of business (e.g. Property, Engineering, Surety, Liability, Casualty, SME, Actuarial Pricing).
- Strong technical and analytical skills in risk assessment and pricing.
- Fluent in English.
- Team-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach.
- Familiarity with office automation tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint), PASS system is a plus.
