As part of our growth and organizational development around major industrial building projects as a General Contractor , we are seeking a Project Director in Milan .
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading our EPC projects in the Energy, High Voltage & Substations sectors, with full accountability for the project’s technical, financial, and contractual performance.
More specifically, your main responsibilities will include:
- Strategic project management : defining objectives (quality, cost, timeline, safety) and implementing management frameworks (quality plans, organization, contracts),
- Team coordination and leadership : structuring the project team, defining roles and responsibilities, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment,
- Operational monitoring and reporting : overseeing project progress (schedule, budget, risks) in collaboration with the PMO, and feeding into steering committees,
- Ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and regulatory requirements,
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project and representing the company to external partners,
- Contributing to the evolution of project management practices and supporting internal transformations.
With an electrical, or civil engineering degree, you have at least 10 years of experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary industrial building projects, ideally in EPC projects in the high-voltage (HV) or energy sectors.
You are recognized for yourleadership skills and your ability to manage large-scale projects by coordinating diverse specialist teams. You have solid expertise inanalytical project management , risk and opportunity anticipation, and have worked on international projects where you developedproficiency in Italian and English .
Mainly based on site, close to the construction activities, you areopen to frequent travel across Italy .
