Experteer Overview
In this role you will secure Arduino Software and Cloud platforms while promoting security best practices across teams. You will collaborate with Development and DevOps to embed security into projects, design secure cloud native systems, and guide compliance efforts. Your work will span threat detection, incident response, and building secure CI/CD pipelines under a mission-driven, collaborative environment. This is an opportunity to shape secure, scalable technology for a global open-source hardware and software ecosystem.

- Secure AWS environments via IaC and standard AWS security tools (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, CloudTrail, WAF, KMS, Config, IAM Access Analyzer)
- Guide Development and DevOps teams on security best practices
- Provide architecture-level security expertise (authentication, system security)
- Build internal tools for detecting and responding to security incidents
- Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and anomalies and respond timely
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and App teams to integrate security controls via standardized configuration tools
- Ensure security controls align with regulatory standards (RED, EN18031, CRA) and ISO 27001
- Prioritize risk across vulnerability management (CVE triage, CVSS, coordinated disclosure) and support external reporting
Responsabilità
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4–6+ years in software/security engineering
- 3+ years programming (C, C++, Java, Python)
- 5+ years in security engineering (DevOps, SRE)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong host, network, and cloud security background
- Experience with PKI, TLS, and key management
- Knowledge of security standards and regulations (ISO, SOC, NIST, GDPR, CIS, CRA)
- Experience with vulnerability management, threat modeling, risk assessment and mitigation in cloud/Web/IoT
- English communication skills and ability to train non-technical audiences
- Ability to work cross-functionally and explain technical concepts
