Overview As an EHS Advisor on a flagship hyperscale data centre project in Milan, you will support the Project Safety Lead and site management to uphold top-tier environmental, health, and safety standards. You will contribute to safety delivery, audits, and incident investigations while promoting a strong safety culture across subcontractors and site teams. The role offers long‐term progression and an overseas package for continuous impact on high‐value construction programmes. You work closely with cross‐functional teams to drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices. Job Responsibilities Support the Project Management team and Site EHS Lead in daily safety delivery
Ensure compliance with project Safety Management Systems and statutory legislation
Review and monitor RAMS, Permit to Work, and Safe Plans of Action
Maintain high safety culture across subcontractors and site teams
Conduct audits, inspections, and corrective action follow‐ups




Manage COSHH / hazardous substance control and reporting
Maintain statutory inspection registers for tools, plant, and site equipment
Coordinate and deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
Assist with accident, incident, and near‐miss investigations and reporting
Attend daily activity briefings and planning meetings
Support environmental initiatives including waste reduction and recycling compliance
Promote proactive safety interventions and continuous improvement on site
Qualifications Degree in Environmental Health & Safety
Minimum 3+ years' experience on large‐scale construction projects
Data centre or mission‐critical experience highly advantageous
Strong understanding of current EHS legislation and best practice
Confident communicator with strong organisational and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
