Experteer Overview In this role you design and evaluate aerothermodynamics for space re-entry scenarios, developing CFD models and protecting vehicles with optimized TPS. You work within the Thermal & Environmental Control and Propulsion department to define requirements and support R&D.; You translate complex aerothermal data into reliable loads and design choices, while coordinating test campaigns. Your work contributes to mission success and advances space vehicle performance. You join a multidisciplinary team driving innovative solutions for space exploration and defense.
Retribuzione / Benefits Assess and define system and mission requirements
Perform CFD modelling and flow-field simulations; quantify aerothermal loads
Define thermal protection systems and preliminarily evaluate TPS performance
Preliminary design optimization of thermal protection and related structures
Oversee test campaigns and ensure data quality
Create aerodynamics and aerothermodynamics databases for control
Support and manage R&D; activities
Responsabilità Master degree in Aerospace Engineering or Physics
Experience in CFD; industrial or academic background
Solid fundamentals in fluid dynamics and aerothermodynamics
Proficiency in programming (Fortran, C++) & Matlab
Knowledge of CFD tools (Metacomp CFD++, Ansys Fluent or equivalent) is a plus
Team orientation; curiosity, proactivity, autonomy
Multidisciplinary engineering mindset (fluid-dynamics, thermal, mission analysis, flight dynamics)
Good English (spoken and written)
