Overview

In this role you will guide direct and indirect tax strategy for the Group across Italy and international operations, partnering with finance and business teams. You will manage tax incentives, audits, and compliance, and contribute to budgeting and reporting. You’ll influence cross-border tax decisions and drive opportunities for optimization while ensuring regulatory adherence. This position offers impact within a global luxury group and exposure to diverse tax matters.

Responsibilities

- Advise on direct and indirect tax matters at Italian and international levels
- Manage tax incentive programs (Patent Box, VAT, R&D; credits) and refunds
- Support tax audits, assessments, and litigation with external advisors when needed
- Ensure high-quality tax services and compliance with laws and internal policies
- Prepare and review tax returns and compliance obligations
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and tax reporting for group entities
- Identify and implement tax optimization opportunities in line with evolving regulations
- Coordinate Transfer Pricing documentation, including Country Files and intercompany pricing analyses




- Monitor legislative developments and assess impact on operations
- Collaborate with Finance, Controlling, Legal, and external advisors on cross-functional projects

Qualifications

- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant tax experience in multinational company or top consulting firm
- Strong expertise in corporate taxation, international taxation, transfer pricing, and tax compliance
- Solid understanding of Italian tax legislation in an international context
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax reporting/compliance tools
- Analytical, detail-oriented, with a pragmatic and business-focused approach
- Strong ownership, accountability, and autonomy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus
- Master's degree in related field; international taxation specialization is a plus
