Experteer Overview In this role you will lead EHS due diligence and compliance projects for private equity, corporate and financial clients, assessing risks across industrial sectors. You will collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to evaluate EHS liabilities, perform audits, and support M&A; lifecycle advisory. The role combines regulatory knowledge with client-facing reporting and stakeholder communication. You will contribute to Ramboll’s mission of sustainable change and work in a flexible, hybrid setting with a strong emphasis on development and collaboration.

Responsibilities

- Conduct Environmental, Health & Safety Due Diligence assessments for mergers, acquisitions, divestments and financing transactions
- Perform EHS compliance audits and site assessments across industrial and commercial facilities
- Review environmental permitting and regulatory compliance obligations, and management systems
- Evaluate occupational health & safety programs, risk assessments, and contractor management processes
- Identify, quantify, and prioritize EHS risks, liabilities and improvement opportunities
- Prepare technical reports and client deliverables in Italian and English




- Participate in site visits, client meetings, and communications with external stakeholders
- Support business development, proposal preparation and client relationship management
- Contribute to team development and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in EHS consulting, compliance, auditing, due diligence or related advisory services
- Experience in EHS compliance audits and site assessments
- Knowledge of Italian environmental and occupational health & safety legislation (Legislative Decree 152/2006 and 81/2008)
- Experience supporting EHS Due Diligence projects within M&A; or transaction advisory contexts
- Strong analytical, report-writing and project execution skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
