Overview As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will drive Lean-based process improvements across manufacturing and transactional areas. You'll lead and support CI initiatives, coaching teams and aligning with the Site Transformation Plan to deliver measurable operational and financial benefits. You will implement standard work, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and guide colleagues through Lean and Six Sigma certification pathways. This role sits at the heart of our transformation efforts, partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, quality, and lead times. You'll contribute to Xylem's mission of sustainable water solutions by scaling improvements across sites.
Responsibilities Define and deploy the Site Transformation Plan across site functions
Lead and execute Lean-driven process improvement projects to reduce bottlenecks and improve productivity, quality, and lead time
Promote and implement standard work to simplify processes and raise output quality
Identify improvement opportunities, manage CI projects,



develop business cases, track outcomes, and ensure benefits realization
Train and coach employees on Lean and Six Sigma tools and guide CI certification paths
Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields or Business Experience
2+ years of process improvement experience leading cross-functional projects
Basic knowledge of core Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, Managing for Daily Improvement, 5S, Standard Work, Problem Solving, Continuous Flow, Material Flow)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
Proven project management and leadership abilities in a team environment
Positive and energetic attitude; people oriented; change and conflict management
