Responsibilities
- Contribute to develop and execute long‑term strategies for the assigned commodity, ensuring best performance for procurement KPI.
- Integrate commodity strategies into product leadership, sales, engineering and manufacturing objectives.
- For New Product Development, drive supplier selection, development and overall supplier management with support of engineering, sales, product leadership and other procurement team in accordance with the business strategy.
- Partner and be a point of reference for Product Leadership, Sales and Engineering for product strategy of the assigned commodity.
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives of supply chain for Single PO as well as Strategic Partnership.
- Negotiate and issue purchase orders with suppliers achieving lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs.
- Develop procurement initiatives for cost‑out programme, deflation, cycle reduction, BVC procurement and cash flow improvement (e.g., rebate, payment terms).
- Leverage S&OP; data to match and optimise supplier capacity with business goals.
Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Economics with experience in procurement or commodity management.
- 1‑3 years of experience in procurement, operations or supply chain is preferred.
- Be fluent in English and Italian, both in writing and speaking.
- Have excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Possess an analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions.
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Have a positive attitude to embrace change and see challenge as opportunity.

Compensation
The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 38,603.44 to 49,500. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
