Experteer Overview In this overseas role, you will serve as the go-to SME and Systems Administrator for Navy Ground Station Enclaves in Sigonella, Italy, ensuring reliable mission systems for critical Navy platforms. You will work closely with Navy counterparts and cross‐functional teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and secure ground and flight‐support networks. The position combines hands‐on system administration, network engineering, and real‐time support during missions, with opportunities to train Fleet operators and influence improvements. This role offers impactful work aligned to national security with a global, mission‐driven team. Retribuzione / Benefits Configure and maintain PGS systems for peak performance Troubleshoot Tier1/2 issues across ground and select air components Share maintenance responsibilities with Navy counterparts Troubleshoot during pre-, in-, and post‐flight operations Assist with RSM builds/offloads and maintain interoperability of mission systems Escalate anomalies and generate JIRA tickets for SME engagement Perform scheduled, corrective,



and emergency maintenance Conduct monthly security scans and apply patches/upgrades Install and upgrade critical hardware (Dell servers, Cisco devices, UPS, Vo IP) Collaborate with partners to ensure network connectivity Deliver on‐the‐job training for Fleet PGS operators Capture enhancement requests and coordinate with developers Provide after‐hours emergency system support Responsabilità Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Bachelor's degree in a related field OR Associate degree + 4 years specialized experience OR Major certification + 6 years experience OR High school diploma + 8 years experience Ability to obtain Do D8140‐approved IAT Level II certification within 90 days Experience with Navy P3 or P8 mission environments (desired) Experience configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting classified systems and networks (desired) Strong understanding of routing, OSI model, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP (desired) P
