Overview Experzeer Overview In this role you will manage Vertiv's international patent portfolio and act as a bridge between legal and engineering teams to safeguard IP. You will oversee invention disclosures, draft patent applications, and coordinate with external counsel to align with EPO guidelines. The position involves developing company-wide patent policies and reporting on portfolio KPIs to senior leadership, with a focus on the EU landscape. You will work closely with inventors across regions to maximize value while ensuring compliance and strategy alignment. Benefits Coordinate and lead patent committee meetings evaluating invention disclosures and applications under IP guidelines Oversee the international invention disclosure process and global patent portfolio in line with corporate and EPO guidelines Establish an efficient system for submitting new inventions meeting EU standards Generate and present portfolio reports and KPIs to senior management with European focus Collaborate with inventors and external counsel to draft high-quality patent applications meeting International and EPO standards Identify KPIs to optimize the patent prosecution process Supervise the patent prosecution process including responding to office actions with EPO and national offices Ensure alignment with the company IP strategy and European patent regulations Responsibilities 5 years of full-time patent prosecution experience with a reputable law firm or company Minimum BS in Engineering or Physics; MS or Ph D valued Licensed to practice before the European Patent Office or equivalent Excellent project management, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in patent management software Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience reviewing and summarizing patents for stakeholders Proficiency in patent searching platforms such as
