Experteer Overview Ambitious systems engineer role within Baker Hughes IET, owning systems engineering for new product development and lifecycle support. You drive architecture, requirements, and risk management, collaborating with program leadership to ensure program execution excellence. You act as the technical owner and interface for customers and suppliers, shaping multi-disciplinary design. This is a mission-driven opportunity at scale in energy technology.
Retribuzione / Benefits Own the program's technical direction and act as primary technical interface
Define and coordinate Engineering WBS and monitor design progress
Define and maintain functional and physical architectures, PBS, interfaces, and verification/validation
Flow down product requirements and allocate subsystem requirements
Ensure PD process adherence including design, risk, manufacturability, and supply chain reviews
Report program status and risks; conduct patents search and ensure regulatory compliance
Coordinate procurement for offers evaluation and supplier selection with cost analysis




Support commercial phases during demand-to-inquiry (DTI) and ITO
Maintain customer-facing technical communication and participate in company initiatives (e.g., SEP board)
Stay current with Systems Engineering state-of-the-art and promote adoption
Responsabilità Master's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Energy/Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Proven experience in turbomachinery or process/plant engineering with strong technical background
Proven systems engineering competencies with project/program leadership
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong collaboration and team-building abilities
Knowledge of Gas Turbines, Compressors, Expanders, Steam Turbines or Plant Solutions
Entrepreneurial mindset and executive presentation skills
Self-disciplined with minimal supervision
Ability to plan and execute with a goal-oriented, team-based approach
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
