We are looking for a Business Financial Controller to act as a business partner to the subsidiary’s executives. The successful candidate will organize and oversee the company’s economic management, optimize financial performance, and support leadership in defining overall strategy. The Business Financial Controller will also be responsible for structuring processes and the use of tools, ensuring consistency of methods and practices, and compliance with group rules. As part of the Group’s community of controllers, the successful candidate will ensure the application of the Golden Rules within the subsidiary.

Business Partnership

The Business Financial Controller will support the subsidiary’s management in monitoring strategy and its operational implementation by:

- Participating in defining objectives and forecasts
- Preparing and ensuring the reliability of the annual budget
- Conducting financial and economic studies to anticipate results
- Providing reliable and relevant financial information to support the company’s strategic development

Performance Monitoring

The Business Financial Controller will be responsible for the P&Ls; and will participate in operational management committees, providing operational and financial insight on the performance of subsidiaries/business units.

Key responsibilities include:

- Analyzing performance, anticipating deviations from objectives, and recommending corrective and preventive actions
- Conducting analyses and proposing decision-support tools
- Developing reporting procedures and tools, dashboards, controls, and indicators, and monitoring their effectiveness
- Performing ad-hoc analyses based on local needs

Project Margin





The Business Financial Controller will be responsible for the production and analysis of project margins and gross margin, calculated according to Group definitions. In addition, the Controller will participate monthly in fixed-price review meetings with technical management and project managers to:

- Analyze project progress and percentage of completion
- Review work in progress and project risks
- Monitor invoicing compared with project managers’ billing forecasts

The Business Financial Controller will calculate and annually review the cost rates used for project valuation and ensure their compliance with Group rules.

Group Reporting

The Business Financial Controller will be responsible for the production and timely delivery of Group reporting. The successful candidate will ensure that all local stakeholders contribute effectively to the production of reliable monthly financial data, relying on accounting as well as operational and business monitoring tools within the subsidiaries/business units.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing the monthly closing calendar
- Producing and analyzing key Group indicators (operational, financial, cash, and business)
- Producing monthly reports (current trading, headcount reporting, etc.)
- Reconciling intercompany accounts

What We Are Looking For

- A hands-on professional capable of combining strategic thinking with operational execution
- A trusted advisor who can support management in driving performance and achieving business objectives
- A proactive individual who promotes continuous improvement, process optimization, and compliance with Group standards and best practices.
- Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken) is mandatory; French is a plus.
