PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Within the CAB Purchasing team,



the resource will be responsible for managing a complete product line in terms of both operative and strategic tasks.
This includes:
- Lead supplier evaluation, selection and sourcing activities for assigned CAB commodities (Steel and Components), while supporting regional and global sourcing projects in collaboration with commodity teams.
- Develop and implement supply base management strategies, both regionally and globally, aimed at achieving the lowest total cost while ensuring quality, service, delivery performance and innovation.
- Negotiate, implement and manage Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), achieving commercial savings, raw material recovery and total cost reduction objectives while supporting business priorities.
- Drive supplier development, VA/VE initiatives and process improvement activities to support productivity and budget targets.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, cost drivers, capacity constraints, technology advancements and supplier performance to proactively
