Electrical Engineer (m/f/i) - (High Voltage) motors / transformers Job Description For our European Engineered Materials department we are looking for a dynamic and flexible Electrical Engineer (m/f/i) with knowledge of (High Voltage) motors / transformers who enjoys working with domestic and international clients to evaluate their insulation systems according to American, European, and international requirements.
Due to testing being done at client's facilities, you are requested to travel frequently to different countries in Europe, to witness the testing.

Responsibilities Determines project scope, develops a preliminary plan of investigation,



and determines project specifications such as test plan, time, and sample requirements by analyzing client input, available supplemental data.
Projects may include travel to witness tests at client sites. Initiates communication with clients to promote and explain the benefits of new and existing services.
Follows up on contacts from clients.
Communicates with clients to discuss technical issues, explain UL procedures and requirements, negotiate completion date and sample requirements.
Acts to address client concerns and to resolve client issues.
Provides technical assistance to clients in reference to product inspection and follow-up services. Establishes appropriate test programs by reviewing files and manufacturer's information and applying UL requirements.
Is familiar with applicable standards, company manuals and appropriate technical literature.
