Mechanical Engineer HVAC
The candidate will be inserted in the Research & Development team for A2W & W2A heat pumps chiller products. Reporting to the R&D; Manager, the candidate will be part of a functional group with members from other countries.
Main responsibilities:
Mechanical design of heat pumps using 2D / 3D CAD software: refrigerant / hydraulic / aeraulic circuit, structural parts, insulation, interconnection of 3rd party components;
Coordinate with the design team to identify the best solutions to ensure product performance and reliability, as well as accessibility for maintenance and repair activities;
Cooperate in the supervision of production activities, especially in the prototyping phase, and carry out activities as integrated with all other design inputs, within a project team (mechanical, electrical and software, thermodynamics);




Interface with suppliers both in the design phase and in the construction phase of mechanical parts, with the aim of finding the cost-effective solution according to company quality standards;
Creation of bills of materials for the mechanical structure of the unit, interfacing with the supply chain for the management of coding and maintenance of revisions;
Draft the needed documentation to ensure that the product assembly operations are performed in the best possible way ensuring a high level of efficiency and quality, also according to the principles of Lean Manufacturing;
Report in a structured way the activities of its competence, planning the workload and deadlines under the supervision of the R&D; team leader;
Participate in the analysis of non-conformities by giving willingness to evaluate and propose all resolving interventions for all company functions that are influenced by the specific design.
