Experteer Overview
In this role, you will lead regional/global category strategies for Indirect Procurement (MRO), driving cost efficiency and supplier collaboration. You will partner with internal stakeholders to align on total cost of ownership and risks, while managing supplier relationships and implementing improvement initiatives. You will work with a global procurement team to deliver sustainable procurement and year‐over‐year productivity gains. This is an opportunity to influence procurement strategy in a large chemicals organization and shape supplier performance across sites.
Responsabilità Develop and implement regional/global category strategies for Indirect Procurement (MRO); drive reliability and productivity.
Negotiate contracts to achieve lowest total cost.
Assess supplier plans, advise on TCO, risks and business impact; liaise with stakeholders.
Serve as internal point of contact for supplier management; lead supplier meetings and improvement initiatives.
Build strong internal networks across sites and departments; ensure alignment with global indirect procurement team.




Deliver annual productivity savings; resolve supplier performance issues and identify improvement opportunities.
Develop and implement joint sustainable procurement strategies where possible.
Qualifiche Bachelor in Business Administration.
3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing of MRO, rotary and power equipment and services, preferably in Chemicals or Plastics.
Strategic sourcing experience including contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, productivity/cost savings, spend analysis, TCOs.
Experience with regional/global contracts.
Working knowledge of SAP Procurement Systems.
Project management experience and change‐driven mindset.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of rotary and power equipment, consumables and warehouse packaging services.
Fluent in English; proficient in German
