Program Manager – Large Power Converters Location: Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy. The Program Manager will manage the development and execution of new products within the Large Power Converters Product Line, part of the Power Management Business Unit. This role will focus on New Product Development / New Product Introduction programs through the Vertiv NPDI process, while also supporting initiatives related to existing products such as sustaining, regionalization, cost‐out, compliance, lifecycle management, and engineering change projects. The successful candidate will independently manage high‐complexity programs with limited supervision, leading cross‐functional teams through influence, structure, accountability, and strong execution control. The role reports to the Product Line PMO Lead. What kind of work will you be doing? Lead and manage multiple cross‐functional projects and programs within the Large Power Converters Product Line. Own project execution from initiation to launch, ensuring clear planning, disciplined execution, and alignment with the Vertiv NPDI process.
Drive project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risks, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure successful achievement of business and technical objectives. Prepare and support NPDI gate reviews, milestone reviews, governance meetings, and launch readiness assessments. Maintain strong execution control through project dashboards, integrated schedules, risk registers, issue logs, action trackers, decision logs, and executive status reporting. Lead cross‐functional teams without direct authority, driving accountability across Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Service, Quality, Finance, Sales, Compliance/Certification, and regional teams.
