Job Description Avio Aero – a GE Aerospace company – is a world‐leading provider specializing in the design, production, and maintenance of components and propulsion systems for civil and military aviation. We invite aspiring leaders in aerospace manufacturing and supply chain to join our OMLP (Operational Management Leadership Program), a 2‐year development program that delivers technical, leadership, and lean‐operations training through three 8‐month rotational assignments across Avio Aero's plants in Italy.
Essential Responsibilities Three 8‐month rotations in: Technical (e.g., quality engineer, manufacturing engineer); Sourcing/Materials Management (e.g., buyer, contracts administrator, logistics specialist); Shop Operations Supervisor (people leader of shop‐floor operators).
Collaborate with the Assignment Leader to set and achieve realistic, challenging goals.
Plan and perform tasks aligned with the business's priorities and core tenets of safety, quality, inventory, and productivity (SQDC).
Apply operational and technical fundamentals,



analytical and problem‐solving skills to real‐world situations.
Develop cooperation and teamwork while leading diverse groups toward the implementation of team goals.
Generate innovative ideas and apply change‐management best practices to impact key initiatives.
Participate in Kaizen events and learn & apply lean principles with a focus on continuous improvement.
Program Expectations OMLP graduates are expected to be advanced in supply‐chain operations and project management, with experiential growth in lean principles. These skillsets enable them to compete for challenging roles and advance as leaders within Avio Aero.
Qualifications & Requirements Master's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, Energy, or Materials Engineering from an accredited institution.
Prior junior experience (co‐op, internship), preferably in manufacturing or global supply chain.
Fluency in English and Italian (written and verbal).
