Job Description Summary
The Global Process Engineer (GPE) will work closely with the Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader, focusing on developing and deploying global standards that improve the reliability, availability, and performance of Aero Alliance's manufacturing equipment and processes. The GPE will analyze data and work cross‐functionally to implement proactive measures that improve processes, lead cost reduction through standardization, and act as a focal point for new technology introductions, asset transfers, and new process introductions. The role leverages analytical skills, lean methodology, and the guiding principle of creating process standards for equipment ("One Product One Process") to drive SQDC in line with business objectives. The selected candidate will play a key role in building a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement across Aero Alliance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop, qualify, and improve manufacturing processes; define global process and equipment standards and deploy them across Aero Alliance factories,
partnering with local factory technical leaders.
Define, control, and communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks & calibrations, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, and technical & technology training.
Validate engineering specifications and shop floor application of new processes, engaging EHS, Manufacturing Engineers, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Industrialization, and Sourcing.
Partner with channels on the development of new repair processes and qualifications.
Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using industry best practices such as FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improving quality
