Job Description Summary
The Global Process Engineer (GPE) will work closely with the Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader, focusing on developing and deploying global standards that improve the reliability, availability, and performance of Aero Alliance's manufacturing equipment and processes. They will analyze data and work cross‐functionally to implement proactive measures that improve processes. The role involves cost reduction through standardization, establishing and ensuring adherence to standards, providing a focal point for new technology introductions, asset transfers, and new process introductions. The GPE will coach and influence a dotted‐line organization of factory manufacturing engineers across the Aero Alliance factories, leveraging analytical skills, lean methodology, and the guiding principle of creating process standards for equipment ("One Product One Process") to drive SQDC aligned with business goals. The selected candidate should have strong technical knowledge, extensive exposure to manufacturing, engineering, quality, and safe process development,
and contribute to a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop, qualify, and improve manufacturing processes and define global process and equipment standards, deploying them across Aero Alliance factories in partnership with local factory technical leaders.
Define, control, and communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks, calibrations, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, technical & technology training.
Validate engineering specifications and shop‐floor application of new processes in coordination with EHS, manufacturing engineers, engineering, quality, materials, industrialization, and sourcing.
Partner with channels on the development of new repair processes and qualifications.
