The Senior Manager, Supplier Development – EMEA is responsible for identifying, developing, and advancing strategic supplier relationships that support business growth across the region. This role partners closely with Marketing, Technical, Sales, and Executive leadership to build a strong supplier pipeline, expand product line opportunities, and position Univar Solutions as a preferred strategic partner. What you'll do Build and maintain a regional supplier authorization map, identifying portfolio gaps and desired supplier partners. Develop and manage an opportunity pipeline to generate a regular stream of new business opportunities. Lead supplier interactions to advance strategic alliances, secure new business, and expand partnerships into new product lines, geographies, and customer segments.



Create strategies and plans to move opportunities forward while maintaining comprehensive supplier relationship documentation. Own the overall engagement plan and deal framing, and orchestrate supplier interactions with cross‐functional teams. Lead strategy sessions before supplier visits to align current situation, critical issues, and desired outcomes. Follow up with internal teams and suppliers to ensure outstanding action items are addressed. Partner with the relevant Marketing Business Director to confirm deal acceptability as it reaches fruition. Manage a select number of currently untapped supplier partners, establishing Univar Solutions as a preferred distribution partner. Map decision‐makers across target organizations, gain internal coaches, and collaboratively build partnership engagement plans with measurable goals.
