TASKS / Responsibilities Represent the Product Safety department in business initiatives and technical projects as an integral member of multifunctional teams. Prepare safety assessments for cosmetic ingredients and finished hair and nail products for pre-market testing and market release. Prepare safety assessments for new raw materials, determine need for additional testing and analytic. Generate and evaluate toxicity data with emphasis on (Q)SAR analyses, read-across approaches, and in vitro assays,



including study monitoring. Identify potential safety concerns with chemical substances, analyze relevant habits & practices data, create market safety profiles, and manage safety-related external relation issues. Handle in-market safety questions and issues in collaboration with colleagues in Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, R&D;, QA, Legal, and Commercial departments. Qualifications and Experience Ph. D. or M. S. in toxicology, biochemistry, chemistry or related disciplines. Work experience with safety assessments in chemicals, cosmetics, and/or healthcare sectors. Experience with in silico methods and non-animal safety approaches. Structured, self-responsible and solution-oriented way of working. High customer and service orientation. Distinctive "Business Sense", agility and healthy pragmatism ("hands-on mentality"). Good communication and presentation skills. Fluency in English, both oral and written. What
