Join the Pirelli Modeling team as an engineer and help advance virtual tyre design, especially in structural Tyre Modeling. We are looking for a motivated professional to support our FEA Modelling & Research team.
Your Core Activities




Developing or improving modelling techniques to predict force and moments (F&M;) transmitted to the vehicle using finite element methods or simplified approaches.
Understanding how tyre construction affects performance of standalone tyre, and their impact on vehicle handling manoeuvres (soft and hard).
Contribute to the development of simulation and analysis tools:
Define modelling guidelines for accuracy improvements.
Define virtual methodologies and validate them vs experimental ones.
Critical analysis of results of both simulations and experimental tests and their correlation.
Improve automation and industrialization of simulations guaranteeing efficient use of HW and SW resources.
Harmonize simulation tools and methodology within the Pirelli worldwide technical centers.
Daily team working with other Pirelli departments (testing, materials, processes...).
What We Are Looking For
A master's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering
