Senior Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer – Semiconductor – Lombardy, Italy
An innovative semiconductor start-up is seeking an experienced Senior Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to support the development of next-generation ultra‐low‐power mixed‐signal ICs for edge AI applications. This is a key technical position, offering the opportunity to help transition cutting‐edge technology from prototype into a commercial product while providing technical guidance to a growing IC design team. What you'll do as a Senior Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer:
Design and develop ultra‐low‐power analog and mixed‐signal ICs from architecture through to tape‐out.
Drive the transition of prototype designs into robust, manufacturable products.
Design, simulate and optimise analogue and mixed‐signal circuit blocks for low‐power applications.
Work closely with IC layout, test and software engineering teams throughout the product development life cycle.
Provide technical guidance and mentor junior members of the IC design team.
Support silicon bring‐up,
validation and post‐silicon debugging to ensure successful product delivery.
What you'll bring as a Senior Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer:
Extensive experience in analog and mixed‐signal IC design within the semiconductor industry.
Proven track record of taking IC designs from prototype through tape‐out into production.
Strong expertise in ultra‐low‐power analogue circuit design and mixed‐signal architectures.
Experience designing analogue building blocks and working closely with physical layout.
Knowledge of memory design or memory‐related circuits would be advantageous.
Experience mentoring or providing technical leadership within an IC design team would be highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across design, test and software teams.
Degree qualified in electronic engineering, electrical engineering or a related discipline.
