Experteer Overview As Accounting & Budgeting Manager at Ubisoft Milan, you will lead accounting activities and budget control for game development projects within a fast-paced creative environment. You will drive monthly closings, statutory reporting, and group consolidation using HFM, while collaborating with auditors and tax consultants. You'll own studio OPEX/CAPEX budgeting and HR costs, ensuring data consistency across projects and cross-studio consolidation. This role combines technical accounting with strategic financial insight to support Ubisoft's creative operations and growth.
Retribuzione / Benefits Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, intercompany, banks, and fixed assets
Manage monthly and year-end closings and statutory financial statements with tax consultant
Coordinate with auditors and external consultants for statutory audits and tax matters
Supervise cash flow, payments, and tax deadlines
Budget and quarterly forecasting for studio OPEX and CAPEX
Budget HR and personnel costs with HR support
Plan headcounts with producers for project data consistency




Consolidate costs across studios for group reporting
Prepare and validate data for group reporting in HFM
Ensure consistency between local ERP systems and group reporting templates
Oversee documentation for video game tax credits and grants
Collaborate with legal and fiscal consultants on filings and compliance
Engage with DG Cinema and MiC for grant applications and funding opportunities
Responsabilità Consolidated experience in accounting and cost control in gaming, tech, or media
Experience with group reporting tools like HFM strongly preferred
Proficient with ERP systems (Oracle PeopleSoft preferred; Zucchetti, Oracle, SAP)
Fluent in English; French knowledge is a plus
Advanced Excel skills
Solid knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC); IFRS is a plus
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
Experience with cash pooling is a plus
