Scope of the role

The role is responsible for the design, development, and testing of new products, as well as the optimization of existing ones through structural and thermal finite element analyses and experimental testing.

In collaboration with the technical team, the role carries out all simulations required to verify the optimal performance of plastic material injection into the mold, ensuring that both new and existing products achieve the best possible manufacturing solutions from a technological standpoint.

Drawing on technical expertise, the person in this role interacts with the customer and internal colleagues (Service, Sales, Application, Engineering,…)



to define the ideal layout of the injection system, and uses Ansys and Moldflow software for thermal and fluid-dynamic validation and optimization.

Key responsibilities
- Design of new components and implementation of optimizations
- Mechanical component sizing calculations, in particular for:
- threaded connections, pressure vessels (thick-walled tubes), metal-to-metal seals, contact pressures, static and fatigue strength assessments, and pneumatic circuits
- Design and execution of experimental tests to validate the performance of newly designed or modified components
- Preparation of technical reports related to mechanical design and experimental testing activities
- Structural analysis of critical components, both standard and custom (Ansys – execution and supervision)
