Responsibilities
- Coordination and supervision of field activities and the seasonal workers during the growing phases of the crops
- Implement new production techniques
- Implement high quality assurance measures
- Area responsibility for a dedicated production region
- Support all activities related to sugar beet seed production
- Ensure production stability on a high marketable level (germination and purity)
- Apply continuous improvement techniques
- Seed production results on stable level for yield and high quality
- Implementation of good production techniques and new technologies
Requirements
- Residing in the Ferrara area or willing to relocate
- Technician qualification in agriculture
- Sound agricultural know-how, preferably experienced in seed production
- Fluent in Italian (mandatory), intermediate English
- High flexibility and willingness to travel within production regions
