Senior Engineer, Product Design and Engineering – Systems The Senior Engineer, Product Design and Engineering – Systems is responsible for Systems Engineering activities for New Product Development (NPD) programs and product life cycle support. The Senior Engineer guides the overall technical effort in close collaboration with the Program Manager, Product Leader and other functions, driving adoption of Systems Engineering practice. The Senior Engineer is accountable for technical requirements,



architecture definition and risk management, enabling NPD programs to achieve execution excellence. Serve as the ultimate technical owner and design authority on the program, and prime technical interface. Define and coordinate Engineering resources and activities (Engineering Work Breakdown Structure – WBS) and monitor the progress of design throughout the program lifecycle. Define and maintain product functional architecture, product breakdown structure (PBS), physical architecture, system interfaces, requirements allocation and relevant verification and validation. Flow product requirements down and identify system and subsystem requirements. Ensure the product development (PD) process is followed, including required technical reviews such as design reviews, risk reviews, manufacturability reviews and supply chain reviews. Report on program status and risk at regular intervals, perform a patent search and ensure technic
