Job Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Finance & Administration Department in Genoa. The role focuses on managing accounting processes, supporting financial reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards across the organization.Key Responsibilities
- Lead accounting and financial reporting processes, preparing USGAAP, IFRS and statutory entries and reports.
- Operate through period‑end and quarter‑end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial packages, acting as the key point of contact for related documentation and ensuring deliverables meet internal and external requirements and deadlines.
- Perform detailed balance‑sheet reconciliations, ensuring consistency and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Oversee the effectiveness of financial reporting controls, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and compliant with company policies.




- Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives across different accounting areas, bringing innovation and efficiency.
- Supply financial analysis and insights to support business decision‑making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to maintain alignment on financial processes and data requirements.

Qualifications
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in external audit with additional experience in corporate accounting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of USGAAP, IFRS, and Italian GAAP.
- Solid understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting, and related IT systems.
- Experience in period‑end closing activities and financial reporting preparation.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
