Location: Hybrid working (based at the Alliance Against Cancer - ACC), Viale Regina Elena 299, 00166 Rome (RM)
Duration: 12 months (renewable)
Salary: RAL 30.000 - 35.000 based on experience
Context and role The European Network of Comprehensive Cancer Centres (EUnetCCC) is a Joint Action funded under the EU4Health programme, an initiative stemming from Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan – Flagship 5. The initiative aims to establish a EU-wide network of Comprehensive Cancer Centres (CCCs), with the goal of ensuring that by 2030, 90% of eligible patients have access to a CCC and improving access to high-quality care close to home.
Within this framework, ACC leads Work Package 7 (WP7), responsible for developing and implementing the governance structure for the future Network. The Network will comprise various governance bodies, including the Network Assembly, which will bring together members, and a Secretariat, which will play a pivotal role in supporting and facilitating the Network’s functions.
In this context, the Governance Tool will facilitate the management of membership applications,
document submissions, and ongoing compliance with Network standards.
ACC is looking for a full-stack developer capable of developing the web tool, given the specifications already developed by the ACC team, in a timely manner, according to the project’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of the Governance Tool, collaborating with the ACC Team
- Direct contact with the Portal Development Team to align on technical issues
- Direct contact with Data Protection Officers on GDPR-related issues
- Training of the Secretariat in the use of the Governance Tool
- Participation in recurring and ad hoc meetings with strategic staff and other IT experts
Qualification and skills
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent degrees.
- Intermediate English level, written and spoken (C1 level or higher).
