As our new Audit and Process Quality Manager you will lead and enhance our quality management systems and internal audit functions within Hitachi Energy, Grid Automation Europe. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards across all operational processes. You will join a remote team situated in Europe and work closely with local teams.
To be successful in this role you have strong communication- presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Develop, implement,



and maintain the company's quality management system (QMS) in accordance with relevant international standards and internal policies.
- Plan, execute, and oversee internal and external audit programs, including system audits, process audits, and product audits, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Identify areas for process improvement through audit findings, data analysis, and stakeholder feedback, and drive the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in process optimization initiatives, applying lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles where appropriate.
- Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Manage the documentation and control of quality-related procedures, work instructions, and records
