This exciting position involves being part of a team of editors that will work closely — and flexibly — with the existing Nature Research Journals. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker with a deep understanding of their subject, curiosity and a desire to learn about areas beyond it, and who can think on their feet. Role Responsibilities Supporting editorial processes relating to manuscript assessment and the peer‐review process. Commissioning, editing and writing content for journals. Working closely with Chief Editors and journal teams, while reporting to the Head of the Research Cross‐Journal Team, on other aspects of journal content and strategy, as appropriate. Experience,



Skills & Qualifications Research experience to Ph D level (or equivalent) in device engineering, materials engineering for devices, applied physics, electronics or closely related areas. A keen interest in research both within and beyond your specialty. The ability to absorb and understand new areas of research. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Time management and work prioritization skills. Postdoctoral experience is not required but would be a plus. Previous editorial experience is desirable but not essential. Additional expertise in related disciplines would be advantageous.
