About the Role As a Regulatory Affairs Lead for Southern Europe, you will be responsible for leading regulatory strategy, operations, compliance and risk management activities across the Southern Europe markets. In addition, you will have direct responsibility for all Regulatory Affairs activities in Italy, acting as the local RA accountable. The role reports to the Europe Regulatory Clusters & Operations Lead. Key Responsibilities Establish strategic direction for all regulatory processes in the cluster countries, aligning with the Operating Unit (OU) Regulatory Affairs strategy and objectives. Execute the regulatory strategy for the registration of products intended for the cluster markets. Maintain existing licenses. Ensure advertising and promotional materials are approved and comply with local legislation. Contribute to the local claims development and localisation of global and/or OU developed claims in collaboration with stakeholders. Lead regulatory governance in the cluster, ensuring adherence to local regulations, corporate policies, and procedures.



Develop and implement effective procedures to maintain traceable records of all regulatory processes and information. Establish an effective regulatory internal control framework, including processes and training to ensure compliance. Implement processes and track relevant metrics defined by OU Regulatory Affairs KPIs. Facilitate strategic development and deployment of regulatory projects through prioritisation, resource allocation, and cross‐functional communication. Recruit, develop, and manage staff through a coordinated programme. Accountable for cluster regulatory objectives, including resource allocation and budgeting for regulatory activities. Engage in continuous dialogue with key regulators and health authorities to resolve major issues. Advocate and shape evolving legislation and requirements in partnership with internal stakeholders, external experts, and trade associations. Serve as part of the Euro
