As the Italian branch of an established Polish market player, Best Italia specializes in the management of non-performing loan (NPL) portfolios, combining international expertise with strong local market knowledge.
We are looking for a Loan Manager to join our Milan team. This role offers the opportunity to work on the management of NPL portfolios, contributing to the definition and execution of legal and extrajudicial recovery strategies while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working with legal documentation, portfolio monitoring activities, and external counsel coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer non-performing loan (NPL) portfolios.
- Define and monitor legal and extrajudicial recovery strategies.




- Continuously update the companys management systems regarding portfolio performance and recovery activities.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of portfolio reporting.
- Coordinate, monitor, and liaise with external law firms and legal counsels.
- Monitor legal proceedings and recovery actions to ensure alignment with portfolio objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support effective portfolio management.

Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with credit recovery, NPL portfolio management, legal servicing, or related activities.
- Ability to review and understand key judicial acts and legal documentation.
- Good knowledge of banking and financial products and related contractual documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word .
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Good command of the English and Italian languages
