Based in Milan and reporting to the Property Team Leader, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Property & Liability risks in the Italian market. Ensure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelines.
Steer and control the portfolio at local level to drive the achievement of financial targets.
Work closely with Sales departments, Risk Consulting, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-selling.
Ensure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.
At least 5 years' proven experience in underwriting profitable Property including both PD/BI and Theft and Liability business for Corporate Clients.
Preference if also experienced in Multinational clients.




Expertise in risk assessment and a firm understanding of policy administration life cycle.
Sound knowledge of pricing, together with strong market analysis skills.
Ideally experience in driving underwriting projects.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
