And that's where you come in Accountabilities Requirements Analysis & System Design Analyze input requirements to define control architecture and detailed specifications. Model and simulate propulsion systems and power converters to optimize component sizing and topology selection.



Control Algorithms & Software Development Design and develop control functions and algorithms to meet technical specifications. Develop and maintain embedded software and firmware libraries. Implement harmonic emission control strategies to ensure EMI compliance. Design diagnostic algorithms for Condition‐Based Maintenance (CBM) in propulsion systems. Testing & Validation Develop Hardware‐in‐the‐Loop (HIL) and Software‐in‐the‐Loop (SIL) test environments. Conduct control system validation in SIL/HIL and real‐world integration testing. Perform system integration tests and on‐board validation. Support commissioning, field testing, and service operations. Compliance & Documentation Ensure software documentation complies with railway standards (EN 50128, EN 50657). Participate in Design Reviews (DR) and support routine testing of control electronics and power converters. Required Skills & Knowledge Control Systems & Signal Processing Advanced knowledge of
