The Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing items. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the inbound and outbound operation Unload trailers by hand Move furniture with dollies and pallet jacks Ensure outbound picked furniture matches invoice before loading into contractor's vehicle for delivery Ensure that outbound furniture does not have any damages or flaws Prepare customers' orders monitors and ensures that outbound furniture is properly assembled Use proper lifting techniques: lift, push, stooping twisting, bending Use RF Scanners to scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination. Must be able to consistently lift/move products up to 100 lbs.
Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards Maintain a clean and organized workspace Meet company standards for productivity Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Able to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changes Qualifications Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years' experience in a fast paced warehouse environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Computer Skills: Not Required Certificates and Licenses: None Required Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will not have any supervisory responsibilities.
