Group FP+A Controller
Location: Trecate, Italy
Salary: €75,000–€85,000 + benefits
A leading international PE backed group is seeking a Group FP&A; Controller to join its finance team. This is a high-impact role supporting senior leadership with financial planning, business performance analysis and strategic decision-making across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the group's budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
- Prepare what-if analyses and financial simulations to support strategic initiatives.
- Deliver insightful variance analysis and identify key business performance drivers.
- Monitor financial KPIs and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
- Produce high-quality management reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Partner closely with functions including Sales, Operations and HR to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement of FP&A; processes, planning systems and BI reporting tools.





Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' experience within FP&A;, Controlling or Corporate Finance.
- Strong background in financial planning, forecasting and business performance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience using BI tools (Power BI preferred).
- Experience with financial planning and reporting systems.
- Good understanding of IFRS and financial consolidation.
- Fluent English.
