Experteer Overview In questa role, you contribute to migrating Casavo's core backend from a Scala monolith to a Kotlin modular architecture. You will design domain boundaries and build robust, AI-ready REST APIs that scale with growing data and external integrations. You collaborate across teams to ensure zero-downtime migrations and reliable communication with other services. You shape the platform for a future where AI tools and automations safely consume Casavo APIs. - Develop the Modular Monolith in Kotlin with clear domain boundaries
- Migrate and modernize legacy Scala logic to the new Kotlin architecture with zero downtime
- Design and implement cross-system integrations with Casavo services
- Build robust, AI-ready REST APIs with RFC 7807 error handling and OpenAPI specs




- Implement safe pagination and efficient PostgreSQL queries for scalable data access
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and engineering teams to ship features iteratively

Responsabilità
- Experience in JVM backend development;
Kotlin preferred but Java/Scala acceptable
- Hands-on API craftsmanship: REST, idempotency, proper verbs, clear errors
- Relational database experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL);
understanding of indexing and query performance
- Comfort with reading legacy code (Scala) and migrating it
- Test-driven mindset with automated testing
- Good written and spoken English
