From P&PD; Engineering, part of the ATS Global group, we are seeking a Quality Manager / Project Manager to join a long-term industrial project in Udine, Italy, within the steel industry, for one of our clients, a major engineering company based in Spain.
We are looking for a professional with prior experience in steel projects, capable of acting as a reliable point of contact with the end client and serving as a link between the company and the client.
This opportunity is aimed at professionals with specific experience in the steel sector, interested in participating in an international expatriate assignment, taking on responsibilities in technical coordination, quality monitoring, and project management.
Monitor and control manufacturing activities within the project
Oversee technical aspects related to the design and manufacturing of equipment
Coordinate and monitor quality across different project phases
Track deadlines, incidents, progress, and project requirements
Identify deviations, propose solutions, and ensure proper project execution




Prepare progress reports and related technical documentation
Specific experience in the steel sector is required. Candidates with experience only in other industrial environments will not be considered.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing control, or project management within the steel industry
Experience in manufacturing control and/or industrial equipment design
Knowledge of the steel industry environment
Availability to relocate and reside temporarily in Udine, Italy
Previous experience in international projects
Experience in direct interaction with end clients
Experience in projects related to manufacturing, installation, design, or control of steel equipment
Professional level of English and Italian
