Job Description Position Summary The Senior Compliance Investigator plays a critical role in supporting the integrity and ethical standards of the business by leading complex investigations, across multiple regions, into potential violations of law, regulation, the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and Hitachi Rail policies. This role requires experience in corporate investigations, effective cross-cultural skills, integrity, discretion, and sound judgment. Key Responsibilities Ensure investigations are conducted in compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies and protocols.



Manage the wing-to-wing investigations process including intake reviews, issue triage, investigative strategy, investigation plans, interviews, documentation and evidence review (including forensics where required), and the drafting of detailed investigative reports. Maintain confidential case management protocols including records of investigations and outcomes. Own related investigation documentation and execute updates in the case management tool and registry, ensuring all files are accurate and updated regularly. Present findings to management or key stakeholders when requested. Collaborate with Legal, HR, Internal Audit and other functions as needed to propose corrective action plans. Support continuous process and data improvement and trend analysis, including but not limited to templates and tools.
