Experteer Overview In this role you will support client impact within McKinsey's Operations Practice, focusing on procurement and strategic purchasing across Europe. You will blend analytical rigor with practical problem solving to develop and implement purchasing strategies that give clients a competitive edge. You will work with diverse colleagues and clients, receive structured training and mentoring, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and ethics. Your work will shape solutions for global sourcing, supplier development, and e‑procurement while advancing your leadership capabilities.Responsibilities
- Identify issues, form hypotheses, design and conduct analyses, and synthesize conclusions into actionable recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients across Europe to develop purchasing strategies supporting business objectives.
- Engage in problem solving and deliver solutions through structured training, coaching, and mentoring.




- Contribute to client impact by applying strategic and operational thinking to procurement challenges.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree and exceptional academics.
- Broad experience in strategic purchasing and/or supply management.
- Proven leadership in work or extracurricular settings.
- Mobility and openness to European assignments during the work week.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication of complex ideas in English and local office language.
