Experteer Overview In this role you will design, implement and operate secure OT systems for hyperscale data centre environments. You will collaborate with internal and vendor teams to ensure performance, reliability and security in high-availability settings. You’ll work hands‑on across BMS, EPMS and related OT infrastructure, driving troubleshooting and continuous improvement. This position sits at the intersection of operations and engineering in a fast‑growing European platform. Deploy, configure, and optimise OT systems across critical data centre environments.
Maintain Windows, Linux, VMware and virtualised platforms to ensure performance, resilience, and service continuity.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements for high availability.
Troubleshoot incidents with internal teams and vendors and drive root cause analysis and preventive actions.
Support monitoring, patching, backup,



maintenance and documentation of OT systems.
Apply security, operational and regulatory best practices in high‑availability settings.
Participate in out‑of‑hours or emergency support to maintain service continuity.
Responsabilità
Experience as a Systems Engineer in enterprise, critical infrastructure or data centre environments.
Strong hands‑on knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, and secure, high‑availability infrastructure.
Experience with troubleshooting, systems administration and operational support in complex environments.
Understanding of security best practices, patching, backup and system resilience.
Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell or Ansible) are beneficial.
Familiarity with OT systems (BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, HMIs) is advantageous.
Knowledge of SAN, backup solutions, infrastructure cabling, Azure/cloud, or relevant Microsoft/VMware certifications is beneficial.
